NOTICE OF SALE UNDER POWER, LOWNDES COUNTY Pursuant to the Power of Sale contained in a Security Deed given by Michelle D. Edwards to Nationsbanc Mortgage Corporation dated 8/27/1992 and recorded in Deed Book 915 Page 116 and modified at Deed Book 5852 Page 141 Lowndes County, Georgia records; as last transferred to or acquired by PHH Mortgage Corporation, conveying the after-described property to secure a Note in the original principal amount of $63,629.00, with interest at the rate specified therein, there will be sold by the undersigned at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash before the Courthouse door of Lowndes County, Georgia (or such other area as designated by Order of the Superior Court of said county), within the legal hours of sale on May 7, 2024 (being the first Tuesday of said month unless said date falls on a Federal Holiday, in which case being the first Wednesday of said month), the following described property: All that tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in Land Lot 127 of the 11th Land District of Lowndes County, Georgia, and being more particularly described as all of Lot 13, Block S of Forrestwood Estates Subdivision, Unit VII, Section 2, according to a map or plat of survey thereof prepared by Harris Surveying & Engineering Co., dated February 19, 1985, and recorded on May 24, 1985, in Plat Record Book E, Page 20, in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Lowndes County, Georgia, to which map or plat of survey and the record whereof reference is hereby made for all purposes in aid of description. The above described property is known as 2025 LaSalle Drive, Valdosta, Georgia. The debt secured by said Security Deed has been and is hereby declared due because of, among other possible events of default, failure to pay the indebtedness as and when due and in the manner provided in the Note and Security Deed. The debt remaining in default, this sale will be made for the purpose of paying the same and all expenses of this sale, as provided in the Security Deed and by law, including attorneys fees (notice of intent to collect attorneys fees having been given). LEGAL NOTICE Georgia Power Company has filed with the Georgia Public Service Commission (the "Commission") its 2019 Integrated Resource Plan and Application for Certification of Capacity from Plant Scherer Unit 3 and Plant Goat Rock Units 9-12 and Application for Decertification of Plant Hammond Units 1-4, Plant McIntosh Unit 1, Plant Landale Units 5-6 , Plant Riverview Units 1-2, and Plant Estatoah Unit 1 and Georgia Power Company's Application for the Certification, Decertification, and Amended Demand Side Management Plan.. Copies of these filings are on file with the Commission and are also available for inspection at the region offices of Georgia Power Company. These matters have been assigned Docket Number 42310 and Docket Number 42311, respectively, and have been set down for public hearing before the Commission pursuant to the Integrated Resource Plan Act, O.C.G.A 46-3A-1 et seq.
